Board your air-conditioned taxi and be driven just 10 minutes to renowned Miller’s by the Sea. Here you will be given a full briefing and assigned a horse according to your riding ability and size.
 
Your unique Antiguan riding tour will begin, accompanied with an experienced and knowledgeable Guide and two out-riders.
 
Making your way across pasture, with a short stretch of road, you will reach the half mile long sweep of Runaway Bay. View the Caribbean Sea and feel its breeze as you stroll up the length of powdery sand, fringed with palms and local vegetation.
 
An enjoyable return ride back brings you to the famed beach, leading up to historic Fort James. Built in 1739, it still has its full compliment of cannon in place. The Fort offers an opportunity to step back in time, and offers fabulous views of St John’s Harbour with photographic opportunities of the harbour, your ship and the lovely Antiguan coastline.
 
Riding back along the water’s edge, you will then be invited to dismount your horse, whereupon it will be unsaddled and all those who wish to be accompanied whilst swimming bareback in the warm waters with their horse, will have such a fabulous opportunity!
 
After such an exhilarating experience, enjoy a complementary bottle of refreshing mineral water before boarding your taxi to return to the ship.

And don’t forget your camera to record wonderful memories!

All riders are required to wear closed shoes and the provided safety helmets whilst riding, with the addition of buoyancy belts when in the water with the horse.
 
NB: No pregnant women or guests with chronic back problems should participate. Minimum age is 6 years old accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 250 pounds.  Bring a swimsuit under your riding clothes, a towel and sun protection.
