To start the day well, you should experience a relaxing scenic horseback ride along beautiful beaches to view some of Antigua’s historic past.

Board your taxi and be driven 10 minutes to Runaway Bay where you will be given a briefing and assigned a horse according to your riding ability and size. Then your tour will begin accompanied with an experienced and knowledgeable Guide. You will view the Caribbean Sea and feel its breeze as you make your way across land and beach to historic Fort James. Built in 1739, it still has its full compliment of cannon in place. The Fort offers an opportunity to step back in time and fabulous views of St John’s Harbour and photographic opportunities of the harbour, your ship and the lovely Antiguan coastline.

Enjoy refreshing mineral water as your Guide unsaddles your horse and prepares for an incredible horseback ride in the Caribbean Sea. There will be an opportunity to shower at the end of your tour.  If you wish, you can then enjoy cold refreshing drinks, snacks or lunch in the bar and cafe.

No pregnant women or guests with chronic back problems should participate. Minimum age is 6 years old accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 250 pounds.  Bring a swimsuit under your riding clothes and adequate sun protection.
