An amazing tour with 4 fantastic stops! Explore Antigua’s colourful past and present on a guided tour that travels from the island’s quaint northern capital, St John’s, through the heart of the island, Antigua’s tropical countryside, everyday picturesque village life and calm, rolling hills to southern historical English Harbour, including the famed Nelson’s Dockyard, Dow’s Interpretation Centre and Shirley Height’s Lookout.

Board your air-conditioned transportation with an experienced and knowledgeable Rendezvous Tour Guide and ride through Antigua’s countryside, rich in daily West Indian life, local villages, old churches, that exemplifies West Indian culture, past the magnificent view of Falmouth Harbour through to English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard.

Built in 1725, the Dockyard served as the base for the English naval squadron patrolling the West Indies. As you enter this historic park, the only working Georgian dockyard in the world, you are met by your National Park’s Guide who leads you on a short, informative walking tour through the Dockyard with its beautifully restored buildings, detailed plaques, many points of interest .

After the tour you have free time to explore the Dockyard, museum, art gallery, gift shop, and boutiques. Your tour continues to Dow's Hill Interpretation Centre at Shirley Heights where you will view a fascinating 15-minute multimedia presentation that traces the island's history from prehistoric times to the present day.

Next is a stop at the Blockhouse ruins, which offers a commanding view of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding coastline. Continue on up to the former signal station, Shirley Heights Lookout, for a picture-perfect view of Nelson's Dockyard and English Harbour.

Your waiting bus then takes you through Fig Tree Drive, Antigua’s lush Rainforest area along the south coast, where you will see the Antigua’s Canopy zip lines right in front of you and on up Antigua’s west coast passing some of its famed ‘365’ beaches en route back north through Antiguan villages to St John’s.
